2 Chutneys, a Dosa and a bowl of Srikhand

An old post that was lying in "drafts". My husband, sometimes, does not even remember what I cooked a week back.These photos are so old that I am positive he will ask me, "Why have you never made these for me?" . I have nothing to write about except "Hope your mouth is watering"! 

Look who's back!

Hello World, once again! I have been away from blogging for quite some time. I am guilty of wasting my time on Television and mindless surfing on the internet. Now that I am back, here are some photos of food - each with stories associated with them. Vinayaka Chaturthi Special at my parents' place - Yumm after 4 years!  4 years after marriage I get to spend Vinayaka Chaturthi at home. It brings back fond memories of childhood. Helping amma make kozhakattais. Singing "Vandeham Gananayakam" in chorus with my brother while appa religiously read out the rest of the shloka. We never realized how valuable those memories are, until when we are deprived of them. This has been a very special time at home with my parents. You will know why in my next blog. :) Some of you might have guessed by now though.
